Yesterday, Conferma Pay hosted a ‘Be Spotacular’ polka dot themed fundraiser in support of BBC Children in Need.
Our goal aligns with Children in Need’s mission to ensure that every child has the childhood they deserve and the support they need to thrive.
Children in Need funds thousands of UK charities and projects, promoting mental health and wellbeing and provide them with opportunities to flourish. At Conferma Pay, our commitment to charity work is exemplified, by events organised by our internal committee.
Our office-based, remote and international colleagues embraced the theme by donning polka dots and using Children in Need themed backgrounds during Teams meetings. Volunteers showcased their baking skills, offering treats for a small donation.
Conferma made a £290 donation to our total when our COO, Dave Wood took on a challenge- we tried our best to embarrass him! An additional £100 was donated during our team’s participation in the ‘Bring Sally Up’ challenge, leaving us all a bit sore today.
Reflecting on the event Conferma Pay HR Director, Sarah Burton said “We are pleased to have made a contribution to such a great cause.”
