Conferma Pay help IntoUniversity open new Salford Centre

Dame Nancy Jane Rothwell, President of the University of Manchester
February 8th, 2023, Conferma Pay celebrates the launch of a new IntoUniversity learning centre in Salford, in partnership with IntoUniversity and the University of Salford.

The Salford centre, which opened its doors this autumn, provides after-school academic support, mentoring and aspiration-raising programmes, to ensure that every young person can reach their full potential, regardless of background or family income.

Building on the success of the first centre in Harpurhey, Manchester, the Salford centre aims to transform the lives of over 1,000 disadvantaged young people each year.

Conferma Pay Head of Marketing, Sian Webster said “We’re incredibly honoured to be able to support our local community by providing a pathway to a better future for young people in Manchester.

It’s great to get a first hand look at the Salford centre, having already spent time at the Harpurhey centre late last year.

We’ve already planned in dates for a career focus day at our Conferma Pay offices and we have several members of the team signed up for volunteer sessions at IntoUniversity centres.

So we’re really looking forward to being able to provide additional support in the coming years.”
