About the Role

Conferma Pay is always looking for new ways to grow whilst enhancing the customers experience. We’re seeking an experienced product manager to help lead this mission. The product manager will be responsible for defining the product vision and managing the product development process.

As a Product Manager at Conferma Pay, you will need the ability to plan and manage each development project from start to finish, and ensure that the product meets the customer’s needs. Ultimately, the product manager will be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. You should also be able to lead the wider product development team toward achieving Conferma Pays vision and mission.

The ideal candidate will have big ideas and strategies that foster an environment of collaboration and creativity. Other responsibilities include supporting the development, testing and operational teams, managing backlog items, and optimizing the value of the product.

Most importantly, we need a Product Manager who can help us build products that people love to use.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define product features according to customer needs.
  • Incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap.
  • Manage and prioritise product backlog items.
  • Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Be the point person and main point of contact for teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist the development and test teams to meet the objective of each release.
  • Liaise with the Design team to create an intuitive and eye-catching user interface.
  • Follow and report on the progress of work and address production issues during sprints.
  • Adjust and improve each iteration of the product before release.
  • Identify areas of improvement by analysing all data available.
  • Keep customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

Skills & Experience

  • Previous working experience as a product manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work with large teams.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
  • Preferred: Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
