Job Title:           Infrastructure Support Engineer (IT Support 2nd Line)

About the Role

Overseeing the link between service desk and Infrastructure for escalations and resolutions

As an Infrastructure support engineer, you will be the key member of staff to ensure that any escalations from the service desk 1st line in the business is managed and resolved/escalated. As an Infrastructure support engineer for the business you will manage Banking ticket requests, investigations of file deliveries and working with developers where required to investigate issues.

Primary Responsibilities

An Infrastructure Support Engineer at Conferma Pay is responsible for:

  • Managing the file transfer process for certification and product environments
  • 2nd line support for the service desk
  • Log file investigation work for Conferma applications in all environments;
  • Assisting with IT desktop support tasks for our internal users

Skills & Experience

You have: 

  • Experience of IT 2nd line support
  • Experience of FTPS and SFTP platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016/2019

You are: 

  • Someone with great attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator
  • Able to pick up new skills and concepts quickly
  • Able to balance a variety of infrastructure tasks

Pay & Perks

Compensation  

Base Salary TBC 

Bonus available – 10% 

Salary and bonus dependent on location, experience and skills
