About the Role

Deriving value from every customer engagement.

Conferma is looking for a Head of Issuing Account Management to drive a customer obsessed and revenue focused account management function which will ensure our customers are deriving value from every engagement and service provided. The role requires a strategic, resilient and forward-thinking individual capable of developing key account strategies, problem-solving, decision-making, facilitating change and managing a team that delivers against strategic objectives and revenue targets whilst working within the culture and values of the company. Primary Responsibilities

Head of Issuing Account Management is responsible for:

  • Create and execute the Issuing Account Management strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for issuing accounts to drive revenue growth, enhance profitability, address executive interaction plan and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Lead the account management team in developing prospects – ensuring we have strong value statements that address customer pain points and effective business cases which drive revenue and the adoption of Conferma’s product suite.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive business growth and foster increased customer loyalty whilst providing accurate forecasting through strong pipeline management and sales conversion methodologies.
  • Influence Product roadmap by being the Voice of the Customer within Conferma – clearly articulating pain points, product requirements and the return on investment.
  • Own escalations for the Issuing Account Management team and drive those escalations to conclusion while creating a high level of customer satisfaction and trust.

Skills & Experience

You have:

  • Relevant track record of successfully developing, driving and implementing successful account management team strategies. Results driven.
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing decisions and building highly effective and trusted relationships at C-Suite level with key stakeholders and partners within a fast moving, commercially focused environment.
  • Highly effective negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and achieve strong commercial outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with proven experience of managing account management functions – motivating and inspiring teams towards shared goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrable value and trust based selling skills with a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and applying that to proposition capabilities.

You are:

  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to clearly articulate customer requirements to internal teams for enhanced servicing and product development.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Able to self-organise, manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
  • Able to demonstrate the highest standards of discretion and integrity.

Pay & Perks


Base Salary: Salary and bonus dependent on location, experience and skills.

Location: Hybrid working, with office located in Manchester area
